Data Processing Supervisor – Dublin – Up to €28k

  • Data Processing Supervisor is required to work for an internationally recognised tour operator that specialises in both group and independent travel
  • The company is located in Dublin
  • Negotiable salary depending on previous experience
  • Full training in place to introduce all company systems and procedures to the successful applicant
  • Excellent benefits package

The key responsibilities for Data Processing Supervisor:

  • Supervising data entry team and ensure all agreed processes are followed
  • Assisting the team input incoming data, services and other information from internal teams, suppliers & agents and maintain the central data store of this information
  • Reporting directly to Information Systems Operations & Project Managers
  • Developing an extensive knowledge of the Tourplan Software and provide support when needed
  • Providing training modules for staff in the correct use of Tourplan
  • Developing & managing relationships with key business users
  • Dealing with problems for system users and assist with system projects when required
  • Any other duties as assigned from time to time by the Managers or Director

Key skills required for the Data Processing Supervisor

  • Fluency in English – verbal & written
  • Excellent administration, communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to use IT effectively and willingness to explore new technology ideas
  • A working knowledge of Microsoft office suite of programmes is essential
  • Ability to cope with work deadlines and to respond effectively to any new tasks
  • Team player able to work in a busy environment with a flexible and positive approach
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office-Outlook, Word, Excel & Power Point
  • Experience with databases and tour operating software is an advantage but not essential
