You will supervise the cleaning and inspection of each room to ensure the staff are delivering the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.

You will motivate, train and monitor staff so that they work only to the best of their ability and ensure effective communication is kept between the housekeeping staff and yourself - and liaise with the front office and reception staff.

As well as that you will help control departmental expenses including linen, consumables and wages meaning you will also be heavily involved with ensuring there is enough staff on duty to complete the work to tight deadlines.

Ideal candidates MUST have experience in a housekeeping supervisory role, preferably in a quality hotel environment. You must understand the importance of being financially aware with costs and be able to deal with staff rotas as well as work to the Health and Safety legislations implemented.

You must have good IT skills and have the ability to do light administration when needed.

This role requires someone who can work well and guide a team. Be organised with great attention to detail and thrive off working to tight deadlines! No matter what - those rooms must be ready for check in! Faulty Towers this isn't!!
