About the role:
As our Deputy Manager working at our brand new Hollywood Bowl in Southampton you will be responsible for supporting our General Manager with the overall performance of the Centre and the Team. You'll also:
Be a great role model for the team and promote a fun working environment - leading, motivating and inspiring them on every shift
Coach and mentor the team, supporting them to hit their targets as well as their personal development goals
Be on the floor at key times ensuring that our customers are happy and safe
Be very hands-on and help keep standards high front of house
Have excellent attention to detail to enable you to enhance our customers' visit - you'll need to surprise and delight them at every opportunity and create lasting memories
Help drive sales and be a brand ambassador - promoting the centre in the local area through marketing activities
Be involved in team recruitment, training and development, ensuring the delivery of exceptional service standards and customer focus.
Be responsible for driving sales and revenue opportunities whilst controlling operating costs and working within department budgets.
Support the manager to ensure the centre is achieving its targets
Manage peak trade shifts in the General Manager's absence

At least 18 months' experience in a fast paced, customer facing management role
Passionate about delivering outstanding customer service
Ability to inspire and lead a team
Sociable with an outgoing personality
Enthusiastic with a hands-on approach
An understanding of a leisure or hospitality operation
Experience in profit and loss accounts and sales and marketing activities
Willing to work late nights and weekends
