Deputy Restaurant Manager - Exciting New Concept - Job Summary

We are currently recruiting for a talented and experienced Restaurant Manager for an exciting operation in Bristol.

The operation is soon to be going to a transition and refurbishment which will add to a business already known for its standards and quality. The ideal candidate will be highly flexible in their approach, having experience of branded high street full service or counter service restaurant, as well as having an absolute passion for quality service delivery.

As the Restaurant Manager you will work with an outstanding team who will look to you to set the standard and lead by example, they will be energised by your passion to deliver consistently great customer service and food. You will have P&L responsibility and be accustomed to working to targets that include GP, and sales. If you are passionate about delivering great service and great food for a variety of clientele, combined with a high commercial pedigree then this role could be just for you... and if that wasn't enough this is a day time focused operation only.

Deputy Restaurant Manager - Exciting New Concept - Role Responsibility


To motivate and lead employees to perform their roles to a high standard, leading by example at all times
To control and monitor the financial performance of the units and to maintain costs within budgeted targets
To meet the demands of the customers by providing exquisite service and food
To establish and maintain satisfactory relationships with individuals at all levels both internally and externally
Manage high profile conferences & events to an exceptional standard
Ensure all special events are completed to the required standard of food and service and are also undertaken within budgeted costs
To implement and maintain exemplary levels of standards of hygiene, health and safety, auctioning where necessary
Deliver financial results though leading and supporting your team in delivery of their KPIs
To continually drive towards service excellence, customer satisfaction and delivering innovation in all areas
Coach, develop and lead a team of 20+ to provide exceptional service
Managing stakeholder relationships in a commercial and compliant manner

Refurbishment experience or business rebranding
Experience of branded restaurants or bars with a strong food offering
Experience of managing budgets including labour & P&L Highly effective communication and interpersonal skills
Clear and effective leadership style
Experience of managing sales volumes of circa 30k per week
Excellent time management and organisational skills
Strong ability to build professional partnerships and communicate at all levels, particularly at senior client levels
Ability to set high standards, achievable through striving for continuous improvement
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
