Digital Marketing Analyst – up to £28k – Central London


Digital Marketing Analyst is required by one of the UK’s most successful travel operators, creating and selling amazing travel experiences. The company is growing rapidly in both, the UK and International Markets; having recently received external investment to deliver an exciting growth plan.


As the Digital Marketing Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in the development of the email marketing strategy. You will be responsible for our weekly newsletters, surveys and customer engagement. The Digital Marketing Analyst role is ideal for anyone wishing to develop their email marketing with a creative and innovative approach. Email marketing is an area within the company that is performing extremely well that has so much more potential for someone to develop. This role will be focused around realising that potential through new initiatives and acquisition campaigns.


As the Digital Marketing Analyst, you will be:

  • Co-ordinating email calendar
  • Segmentation of the customer database using the customer survey to create targeted relevant campaigns
  • Creating campaigns with dynamic content for each segment
  • Building themed campaigns and work with the relevant teams to ensure product fits in with the campaigns
  • Brief in the campaigns to the designers
  • Proof, send and approve campaigns
  • Use A/B testing strategies to continuously gain insight into the database and to increase open rates, click through rates and ROI
  • Complete weekly and monthly reports with commentary and suggestions to improve performance including competitor analysis and best practice
  • Develop and work with our existing acquisition strategy to grow the database
  • Consider contra deals or partnerships to acquire data
  • Build themed campaigns and work with the relevant teams to ensure product fits in with the campaigns
  • Work closely with ESP to create filters, lists, automations, dynamic content and A/B tests
  • Work closely with the marketing team to ensure the email strategy sits in line with the overall marketing strategy


The successful Digital Marketing Analyst must have previous marketing experience, experience with ESP systems (ideally Adestra) and an understanding of HTML.  The Digital Marketing Analyst will have a proven track record or acquiring and retaining new customers and an understanding of the current Data Protection and Privacy Legislation (GDPR), Google Analytics and reporting skills with the ability to see patterns in data and make recommendations accordingly.
