Digital Marketing Executive
Large well established travel company are looking for a Digital Marketing Executive, you will need to have previous experience of online performance marketing in B2C on large scale campaigns. The key role will be to assist the Senior Marketing Manager with growth and optimisation of online marketing activity. You will support with the implementation of new keywords and optimisation strategies and run weekly, monthly and ad hoc reports for internal stakeholders.
*Implementation of PPC, Meta and re-targeting channels, optimising activity to drive profitable growth. Work closely with the Senior Marketing Manager for guidance and expert insight.
*Help to ensure budget allocation and rate of spend is aligned to agreed strategies
*Reporting on campaign performance and carrying out in-depth analysis. Providing and implementing recommendations based on observations/direction from line manager
*Set up of new PPC campaigns and ongoing development of the accounts to improve performance
*Identifying keyword growth opportunities and ensuring adequate visibility on the existing keyword set
*Search query analysis to identify new keywords and potential negatives
*Extension set up and optimisation.
*Quality assurance checks on changes made, such as large scale bid changes or testing of new product inventory.
*Ensure that all changes are in line with the strategic business objectives.
*Excellent quality assurance on all changes made before go live to mitigate errors.
*Keep a log of all key changes /updates - as shared by the team
*Maintaining a structured copy performance monitoring and testing matrix
*Work with E-Commerce & Trading Analysts to identify top performing destinations and optimise PPC and Meta channels accordingly
*Active monitoring of the competitive landscape specifically on search and meta channels, sharing insights on regular basis with team.
*Reviewing competitor advertising to benchmark marketing activity
*Previous experience of online performance marketing in B2C on large scale campaigns.
*Educated to degree standard or equivalent
*Strong project management - ability to manage and deliver several marketing activities at the same time.
*Experience in implementing PPC campaigns with the aim to drive growth and margin.
*Ability to optimise Meta channels effectively and achieve ROI targets
*Passionate about performance marketing with excellent analytical abilities.
*Experience of bid management and attribution tools.
*Excellent PC skills - use of Excel (Advanced), Word, PowerPoint.
*Experience in writing SQL queries - advantageous
*Great team player with strong interpersonal skills.
*Works well under pressure and thrives in a fast paced environment.
*Enthusiastic and passionate about marketing
*Excellent creative writing and communication skills.
*Detailed and analytical approach to work
*Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities, 'can do' attitude
*Displays a passion for achieving a high standard of work.
*Travel sector experience - desirable
