Europe's fastest growing travel service provider is seeking to recruit an Insurance Claims Handler to join their busy Excess Refund Department Team in West London. Established for over 24 years, our client specialises in offering their leisure & corporate clientele a world choice of travel insurance, hotels and car hire products. Main Responsibilities:
Deal with all email folders – open new files, answer client’s emails, drag post onto the correct files
Run the appropriate paperwork
Manage your own case load and task list
Act as the first point of contact for most clients and advise them of the claims process
Answer incoming phone calls in a timely and professional manner
Recoveries on claims where appropriate
Supplier management and cost control
Client & Supplier liaison
Now Let’s Talk About you:
Insurance background with knowledge of handling Third Party recoveries process
Ability to organise and prioritize work and to deliver work within strict time-lines and meet deadlines
Must have excellent administrative skills along with good telephone manner
Strong time management skills with the ability to use own initiative
Methodical with a good attention to detail
Courteous and positive team player who is self-motivated and effective at working independently
Adaptable to new situations with an open minded and flexible approach
Salary: £17,000 per annum + £3,000 bonus
