Direct Marketing Executive - Travel Industry, Up to £32K, London

Our client is a large travel organisation across the Leisure and Business Travel partners sector. Working in a growing company the Direct Marketing Executive will be responsible for delivering multi-channel marketing campaigns including email marketing, social media marketing, event marketing, print and website content management.

Duties and responsibilities of a Direct Marketing Executive - Travel Industry:-

  • You will be responsible for all direct marketing activities ensuring email marketing and social media to consumer are constantly updated and marketed.
  • Liaise with business partners to obtain content to deliver on their marketing activities
  • Be responsible for delivering in-house design using templates for both printed and online collateral in line with company brand and visual guidelines
  • Manage and deliver leisure travel/business travel emails and printed collateral as required
  • Research member centric content and stories and post to the company Facebook page
  • Manage the business partner banner advertising calendar on the extranet
  • Upload and maintain marketing campaign content into the company member extranet to ensure all content is relevant and up to date at all times
  • Manage and deliver marketing activities for Conferences to include emails, printed collateral and social media engagement
  • Maintain effective working relationships with external suppliers including marketing agency and printers
  • Manage campaign costs within budget including raising POs and monitoring invoices
  • Monitor campaign results and report on a monthly basis
  • Attend industry events as required

The skills required of the Direct Marketing Executive - Travel Industry are as follows:

  • Experience of working in the Travel Industry performing Direct Marketing is essential
  • Degree educated
  • Excellent at written communications, copy writing and proof reading
  • Building relationships with business partners/suppliers by phone/email/face to face
  • Using an ESP to deliver email campaigns (Dotmailer)
  • Using website content management systems
  • Using InDesign and/or Photoshop

The Marketing Executive role would ideally suit someone with at least a years experience within a similar position working within the travel industry.
