Our client is seeking to recruit an Employment Policy Advisor to work as part of the Employment Policy Team.
Purpose of the role . Providing specialist Employee Relations and Employment Policy advice and solutions to Management mainly over the phone . Being an integral part of the Employment Policy Team and Helpdesk. . Working in partnership with internal stakeholders to provide support advice and recommendations . Liaising with external providers of EP related services (such as Occupational Health) to deliver relevant and timely services
Job spec . Provide professional ER / HR advice support and guidance on ER and employment law . Taking approx. 100 calls a day . Undertake and maintain administrative records and documents . Support the Early Termination Process . Manage long term and frequent sickness . Provide first line support for business crises . Communicate and educate Managers to comply with employment policies . Undertake general Employment Policy activities as required . 60% of day will be spent on the phone and 40% doing administration
Skills . Knowledge and experience of ER / HR employment policies and procedures . Excellent communication skills . Detail conscious and numerate . Able to multi task . Responsive to issues . IT literate in Word, Excel, Outlook . Good organisational skills
