European Senior Travel Sales Consultant - London - c£24k package
Our client is currently seeking an experienced travel sales consultant to assist the European Travel Sales Team Leader in the training, monitoring and motivating of the temporary sales team in order to meet business targets and deliver high standards of service.
You will maximise income from own and teams proactive sales calls in line with agreed targets whilst ensuring high standards of customer care and accuracy when dealing with clients. Set daily targets to meet weekly or campaign objective set by the STL.
Monitoring and report on teams performance against targets and ski pack pick-up rates using leader boards, suggesting training and improvements in systems.
You will working closely with the European Sales Team leader, set priorities and work for themselves and their team for the day/week.
Be responsible for daily distribution and monitoring of email enquiries in line with agreed timescales and departmental targets and standards
Provide on-going training and development to ensure sales and call targets are met and high standards of service are delivered.
Ensure you and your team respond to sales enquiries and reservations with accuracy and speed in line with personal and departmental targets for the designated parts of the European programme.
Appropriate daily/weekly telephone cover for incoming/ outbound calling
Maintain high levels of product knowledge for all European programmes in order to ensure crossing selling and upselling opportunities are maximised.
Help prepare for and attend ski shows and other promotional events
Contribute accurate and knowledgeable information on Company’s blog and forums on the website
Produce and update whiteboards with daily sales figures and competitions
Read and understand Crisis Manual to be aware of your role in the event of a crisis
