Salary to 60k base - OTE 120K d.o.e. Based: Richmond, Surrey, London

The Role

The Sales / Business Development Manager will manage sales activities with existing clients and prospects to maximise sales opportunities and build strong, sustainable relationships with key client contacts. The Sales / Business Development Manager will support sales and marketing initiatives including product launches, promotions, advertising, exhibitions and telemarketing, preparing presentations and delivering tailored software demonstrations to prospective customers so experience in events / hospitality / conferences / venue management would be an essential.

The Company

Our client is an internationally successful software provider to the Venue & Events Industry with more than 500 customers in 13 countries. The company utilises the SaaS business model to a wide portfolio of niche markets in the venue and events sector, including Venues, Museums and Galleries, Performing Arts as well as Government and Corporates. Existing UK clients include a range of high-profile, blue chip venues and organisations.

The Person

The successful Sales / Business Development Manager will have previous experience in sales or business development in events / hospitality / conferences / exhibitions / venue management with a track record of sales achievement to capture existing pipeline opportunities and expand the UK sales base.

Previous experience of using event management software, ideally cloud or SaaS based, would be beneficial, so as to have an understanding of the challenges presented by this software.
