We have a fantastic opportunity for an Event Venue Sales Executive to join our client who are a leading Events and Hospitality organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving and exceeding targeted Sales. This will be achieved through targeting new commercial customers and sectors, whilst ensuring strong levels of repeat business through successful account management.

The Responsibilities of the Event Venue Sales Executive are:

  • Proactively sell conferencing facilities and venue to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Grow business from the existing customer base to meet targets and ensure strong levels of repeat business.
  • Identify and target new commercial customers and sectors and bring in new sales from these markets.
  • to achieve business targets through proactive sales initiatives, including generating and attending client meetings
  • Account manage relationships with key accounts and agents.
  • Meeting and corresponding with potential clients, handling and converting incoming enquries and contracting bookings.
  • Assist with the preparation of proposals for new clients and to meet and show round where necessary the facilities on offer
  • Provide accurate weekly sales and activity reports to the GM/Regional Head of Sales.
  • Work collaboratively with the Region’s Marketing department to deliver messages to potential clients.
  • Represent the region as required at exhibitions, open days and other client liaison activities.

The skills required for the Event Venue Sales Executive are:

  • Demonstrate proven success in sales negotiation
  • Possess experience in new business development and account management
  • Have excellent sales presentation skills
  • Be self-motivated and driven
  • Be able to prioritise and meet deadlines
  • Have excellent attention to detail and organisational skills

Please note that applicants must also be willing and able to work weekends and evenings to support Conference and Events as and when required.
