Fare Desk Manager - London

Our Client, an award winning TMC who provide a first class travel management service are currently looking for an experienced Fares Desk Manager who has worked with New Distribution Capability (NDC) and understands booking portals and online booking channels to join their friendly and professional team. We are looking for a strategically minded individual who can creatively lead and develop the department. 

The responsibilities of the Fare Desk Manager Specialist are:

  • Ensuring best practice is applied to the provision of all fare constructions and quotes
  • Assisting agents to apply best fare options
  • Responsible for NDC booking channels, targets and training
  • Responsible for ADM’s and fare related administration
  • Responsible for processing all refunds and exchanges that are sent by Agents
  • Run monthly reports and process open tickets refunds
  • Fare loading
  • ADM reconciliation / dispute and record

The Skills required for the Fare Desk Manager Specialist are:

  • Understanding complex fare constructions
  • Ability to accurately calculate fares for refund and re-issues
  • Ability to learn new systems and processes
  • Knowledge of multiple GDS's
  • Good organisational skills, accurate and able to maximise business opportunities
  • Experience of Travelport’s Net Fare Manager will be an advantage
  • Airline experience preferred
