This is a fantastic opportunity for a Ticketing Consultant with a solid understanding of ticketing to join a reputable tailor made, tour operator based and progress your fares & ticketing career.You will be responsible for co-ordinating and fulfilling all ticketing requirements in a timely manner, fundamental to the smooth running of the operations department. My client has been established in the travel industry for years and has built their reputation on excellent service and being able to offer good quality travel options.
Duties include: *Manually issuing tickets using CRS/GDS. *Issuing published and NETT fares *Accurately reissue all tickets and ensure that these are completed within agreed timescales *Checking airline contracts to ensure tickets are issued in line with the agreed contract *Contacting airlines to deal with fare queries *You will offer excellent customer service at all times and help resolve any queries
Skills Required: *Minimum 1 years' experience of booking worldwide travel using GDS. *Proven experience of issuing, re-issuing and performing re-calculations of international and domestic airlines. *Experience of working for a specialist tour operator in a similar role. *Sound organisation skills and flexibility, with experience of managing multiple work streams. *Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal). *Well organised and able to work to deadlines.
