Are you a highly motivated and experienced Travel Professional? Are you fluent in French? Do you know the UK & Ireland like the back of your hand? If so, this could be your dream role! My client, a leading DMC within the UK and Ireland, is currently recruiting for an experienced French-speaking FIT Executive to join their busy team in Edinburgh. This internationally renowned Tour Operator pride themselves on their personalised service, so prior experience working in the Travel Industry is a MUST! If you speak French, are Travel Sales orientated and motivated, and have experience selling the UK & Ireland as tourism destinations... then look no further!

JOB DESCRIPTION
You will need to have excellent geographical and product knowledge of the UK & Ireland, as well as extensive experience in tailor-making travel itineraries to perfectly match customer needs. You will be dealing with French accounts and French-speaking travellers who are seeking unique, luxurious, and bespoke travel experiences on both an individual and group basis. Your day to day will consist of generating quotes, bookings tours and ancillaries, forming and maintaining relationships with clients and suppliers alike, so being able to work effectively both individually and as a team player in a growing and exciting environment is a must.

DUTIES
*Undertake FIT client reservations in an efficient and customer focused manner
*Ensure agreed response times to clients are met and all reservations undertaken are accurate
*Build and maintain strong relationships with clients under your care
*Deliver first class customer service to our clients
*Use Tourplan to ensure all procedures are adhered to and as directed by your line manager
*Work with the Business Development Manager to support in quoting programmes and rates to existing and new clients
*Make hotel and other service reservations, all whilst maintaining strong supplier relationships
*Operate the department's 24/7 emergency phone (on a ROTA basis)
*Undertake any other administrative tasks as assigned by your manager, supervisor, or Senior FIT Account Executives
*Ensure the profit margin targets on bookings under your care are achieved as laid out in company pricing guidelines (per market) and as directed by your manager
*Assist with other departments when needed

OTHER REQUIREMENTS
*Fluency in French and English is essential
*In-depth knowledge of the UK & Ireland as a tourism product and destination is essential
*Experience handling VIP and/or luxury FIT accounts is desirable
*Experience using TourPlan is desirable
*Excellent customer care and communication skills
*Great team player with strong communication skills and a keen eye for detail
