Senior flights and operations executive - Required for this expanding niche travel company based in a great location in central London. They are looking for an experienced flight coordinator with Amadeus or galileo and will pay including bonus up to £30,000 _ benefits for this Monday to Friday position.

Senior flights and operations executives duties
-Provide operational support to our Call Centre for complex flight related issues (eg significant flight changes and cancellations
-Provide advice for large fare increases when required sourcing new fares at lower pricing and be responsible for signing off high costs within our in-house system
-Provide support and assistance for GDS queries (eg system entries such as pricing)
-Liaise with the GDS's for set up of new starters, further support, advise and training requirements
-Monitor the Call Centre to ensure flight related matters are being dealt with in a timely fashion
-Provide advise to the Call Centre for escalated pre and in resort complaints relating to flights and other modes of transport (transfers, car hire, Eurostar etc)
-Investigate flight and other transport post departure complaints and respond to the customer accordingly
-Ensure reporting on flight related issues is closely monitored and analysing flight issues to take preventive action to prevent further occurrences of the issue and to reduce any losses
-Assist the Senior Customer Services & Operations Executive with investigations and responding to complaints as required

Senior flights and operations executives duties
-
Proven experience in dealing with scheduled flights with a strong understanding of UK airline rules and regulations
-Strong GDS experience in at least 1 system - knowledge of both Amadeus and Travelport is desirable but not essential
-A good understanding of pricing and ideally ticketing experience
-Experience in handling complex flight situations and flight emergencies
-Experience in liaising directly with customers and airlines
-Ideally an understanding of ABTA and ATOL guidelines
