Do you have a love for the good pint of Guinness, the iconic houses of commons along the river Thames and mysterious Loch Ness? Are you experienced in working in the Travel Industry in a Reservations role? Are you an accomplished French speaker and writer (if not, we may have an alternative for you)? Then you've come to the right place. Our client is a well-established, industry leader and they are looking for fresh forward thinking team members to join their fantastic Dublin office. Working with excited visitors looking to holiday in the UK and Ireland, you will be tailoring fantastic trips to show off all the beauty, culture and the best that Great Britain and Republic of Ireland have to offer! You will be creating top excursions and looking after French visitors so a creative edge and top customer service skills is a must. If you don't speak French - we may have an alternative for you.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
The core responsibility here is to provide comprehensive service to the French speaking visitors where you will be tailoring and creating their itinerary looking after their trip from enquiry, during their visiting and onto post booking.

Responsibilities include:
*Develop and maintain strong relationships with both existing and potential new clients in the French Speaking Groups Market.
*Active hands on role in the Business Development function for the French Speaking Groups Department - this will involve the preparation and costing of proposed client group and series programmes and dealing with the client to ensure their subsequent conversion to confirmed business.
*Full utilisation of the travel system to generate all client quotations and subsequent follow up.
*Any agreed sales and marketing activities, either in Ireland/UK or in the overseas market place - this could take the form of either desk based activities or direct agent/client interaction.
*Use your English and French skills, liaising with any clients wishing to visit UK and Republic of Ireland.
*Ensure that operations operate as smoothly as possible, in a timely fashion.
*Be the first point of contact for escalation of complaints and offer a resolution
*Assist in operating this department's 24 hour emergency phone.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
*The ideal candidate would have a good knowledge of Irish and UK tourism product and industry.
*Fluent / business level efficiency of French and English is required.
*You will have good customer service skills, good computer literacy and good organisational skills.
*Good attention to detail is key.
*Strong team player and ability to manage others.

THE PACKAGE:
*There is a very competitive basic salary on offer here, with a benefits package in addition. This business are very proud of the strong reputation they hold so you will be part of their ongoing success.
*The core working hours are Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:30, with some flexibility for helping with the emergency phone, attending any trade shows required and, indeed, any additional help on tours.
