A French speaking Account Executive is required by a leading wholesaler to responsibility for the growth of existing customers and converting opportunities generated by the Sales Team, where you will have gained a knowledge and understanding of the suppliers products, and development plans for to help expand penetration with customers in your source market.  As French speaking Account Executive you will develop relationships and become the principle point of contact for a number of our existing and potential customers.  In addition this role takes total responsibility for the qualifying, quoting, and conversion of ad-hoc groups and ad-hoc FIT and Online FIT enquiries.


As French speaking Account Development Executive you will:


  • Know the planning cycles and provide the right products and prices within client deadlines. 
  • Become familiar with your market place - who are the competitors, expectations, how they work, etc 
  • Deliver on the key performance indicators to include quote turnaround times, conversion levels on enquiries, % return on offer 
  • Monitor quote fails and make recommendations how this could be improved for the future 
  • Put in place service level agreements with clients where appropriate which would include elements such as determining and agreeing service requirements, e.g. Response times, new products, allocations if required, release periods, cancellation policy, payment terms, retrospective discounts, etc.  
  • Discuss payment procedures and establish whether credit facilities will be required 
  • Implement procedure for co-ordination of quoting with product team ensuring that where appropriate we are directing business to key hotels and products. 
  • Implement procedure for co-ordination of data entry for Offline FIT where appropriate. 
  • Provide scanned images, brochure material when required 
  • Organise and accompany clients, potential clients on FAM Trips, inspection trips
  • Produce regular special offers to be sent to existing, potential customers for which you have responsibility for developing


The successful French speaking Account Development Executive will have a travel industry background, preferably in a B2B role either dealing with clients or suppliers.  You will have excellent communication skills, being fluent in both French & English. As French speaking Account Development Executive you will have excellent customer service skills and be results driven.  You will be highly accurate with an excellent attention to detail and have the ability to make decisions and to work on own initiative and in a team with excellent organisational skills
