The role of the Bar Manager involves:
*Train, evaluate, lead, motivate, coach, and discipline all employees, supervisors and assistant managers to ensure that established cultural and core standards are met.
*The ability to be visible in the operation, provide recognition, promote good public relations, and handle complaints, concerns or special requests for guests, clients, and group contacts.
*Describe and ensure quality of all food items, ingredients, and preparation methods, as well as provide expert knowledge of wine and spirits in an elegantly appointed environment dedicated to an attentive and distinctive experience for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
*The ability to work closely with the Bar General Manager and Assistant General Manager to meet departmental goals.
*Take an active role to meet the financial goals of the bar to meet the financial goals of the bar.
*Control labor and operating expenses through effective scheduling.
*Maintain the concept and position of the bar in the community.
*Maintain knowledge of competition and industry trends.
*Observe physical condition of facilities and equipment in the outlet and make recommendations for corrections and improvements as needed.
*Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.

*Work with the Bar General manager to constantly develop wine/cocktail knowledge and service.
*Oversee the bar schedule to ensure proper coverage across for all bars and events
*Maintain wine list, receive communication provided by Purchaser, update wine lists and keep all in good conditions
*Spot check weekly inventories of all Liquor, Beer, and perishables stored in all bar locations following all Restaurant inventory procedures
*Work with Bar team to ensure beverage needs outside of normal par levels are met
*Ensure proper beverage training sessions and tastings are occurring
*Oversee cost models and pricing structure of beverage program
*Maintain the specialty cocktail program to bar standards and maintain the recipe book for cocktails
*Oversee all service and bartender training
