Provides fast, friendly, professional and responsive customer service to restaurant guests and restaurant staff. Greets, and makes welcome, each guest entering restaurant. Greets and acknowledges guests while smiling and making eye contact.Recognizes repeat guests while smiling and making eye contact.Addresses guests by surname while smiling and making eye contact.Builds a rapport with guests while walking them to their table.Pulls out chairs and/or tables before guests are seated.Accommodates guests needs, i.e. wheel chair, restrooms, movement of drinks from one location to another, etc.Acts as a liaison between management and service staff.Communicates guest complaints and compliments to management.Communicates guests' needs to staff/management, i.e. celebrating anniversary and/ or birthday, etc.Invites and welcomes guests back upon completion of their visit.Alerts the kitchen of business flow, i.e. how many guests will soon be ordering, how many guests are having desert, how many guests are waiting to be seated, etc. Walks the floor and provides floor updates to management, i.e. how many open tables, open menus, etc.Ensures that guest seating is rotated between all service stations.Answers telephone, takes new reservations and maintains current reservations within procedural guidelines.Must be knowledgeable about the company you work for, i.e. locations, cuisine, etc.Must be knowledgeable about surroundings, i.e. nearby entertainment, theaters, etc.Performs all duties in adherence to all company standards.Must have the ability to provide friendly, courteous and professional service to all internal and external customers/guests, at all times necessary.Must have the ability to report to work on time and on a regular basis.Other duties as assignedMust have the ability to work a flexible schedule and late hours when
