Front of House Supervisor - The Stamford Bridge - Chester

Are you looking for full time work? Do you have a bubbly personality, have excellent standards and enjoy working with people, do you feel you are ready for a new challenge? We may have the perfect role for you.

Here at Hydes, we are not only a pub operator but we also brew our own beer, and have over 150 years of history and heritage. Four beers are available on a permanent basis across our sites, as well as having an extensive range of seasonal craft ales. We operate around 60 pubs, split between both tenancy and managed houses. With an inclusion of destination food houses, local pubs and town centre venues.

We are now looking to recruit to our front of house supervisory team at the Stamford Bridge, to enhance this strong team, and help us be the best at what we do and ensure 'excellence is a habit'

The Site

With its wonderful views over the Cheshire Plains The Stamford Bridge is the perfect place for customers to enjoy the lighter evenings in our warm & welcoming atmosphere or while away the wintery nights by our log fires.

The Role

Regardless of how many hours you work, our customers are in your hands. You will be the leader of the front of house team at the Stamford Bridge, knowledgeable about all the dishes on our menu and what is the best thing to drink with what meal. But most of all you love to look after people, understand what makes them happy and get a buzz from making someone's day. You will also have a passion for food, drink and hospitality and how to drive this forward in a team focused environment.

The Person

Our front of house teams work hard to ensure that 'excellence is a habit'. Therefore the person needs to have the flair and skills to lead the team in ensuring that a quality service is delivered.

We are therefore looking for someone who can demonstrate the following attributes and skills


Socially confident with excellent interpersonal skills
Has excellent attention to detail
Indicates a positive 'can do attitude'
Enjoys working to high standards and working under pressure
Has excellent verbal and written communication skills
Is able to respond to customers appropriately and respond to their needs
Strong leadership skills to be able to lead the team by example
Able to give clear direction, delegate effectively and adapt to change
Diplomacy
Strong decision making skills
Has the ability to coach and mentor staff as well as being approachable

5.6 weeks holiday entitlement, and a pension plan.
