Function Manager - Dorking - Beautiful Destination Venue 25,000 per annum**
We are currently recruiting for a Function Manager to work at this stunning destination venue based in Surrey.
In the absence of the Catering & Operations Manager you will take responsibility of the effective running of the Catering Department.
The Catering Department consists of a large Restaurant which is predominantly used for large banquets and events and a smaller fine dining restaurant so someone from an Events or Conference & Banqueting background would be welcomed!
* Control of all staff costs, food and beverage costs inclusive of both restaurants * Communicate effectively and maintain relationships with all departments * Work closely alongside the Head Chef and Catering Supervisors * Manage cleaning rotas to ensure all areas are stocked and clean at all times
This is a hands-on operational role - However 1 day a week will be allocated for Back of House duties
The shift patterns are 5/7 days on a 40 hour a week contract - Evenings and weekends required
The salary is 25,000, company benefits and also offers 28 days paid holiday. This role also allows the successful candidate to progress within the company and develop in the hospitality industry.
