Ticketing Executive 

A Ticketing executive is required to provide accurate Air and ticketing support to a busy worldwide travel company. An experienced ticketing consultant with solid knowledge of GDS system Galileo, net fares, CAT 35 and fare builds. The successful candidate must have a “can do “attitude, be highly organised, commercially focused and willing to help a number of supporting teams.

Ticketing Executive Key Responsibilities

  • Run daily ticket deadline report from GDS
  • Issue tickets to travel consultants
  • Revalidate tickets/Reissue tickets where necessary (E.g Time changes/Upgrades etc)
  • Log all ticket numbers (includes refunds/Mco/Acm/Adm) into res system & amend costs where necessary
  • Check all itineraries for cost saving opportunities to clients and recognise mark up opportunities.
  • Process refunds via Gal system & where necessary by writing to the airline
  • Staff Travel
  • Check BSP website for ADM/ACM & any Iata/BSP notices
  • Twice monthly:-Reconcile BSP report
  • Request Group rates when requested by travel consultants
  • Assist travel consultants/sales support with queries they have on bookings/fares etc.
  • Galileo training (As requested by Training Manager)
  • Deal with all Airline rates and advise marketing/ sales and commercial manager on special offers
  • Assist with any operational issues such as ASH cloud, providing relevant reports, support and advice
  • Being part of the Duty Manager team, willing to assist in out of hours emergencies.
  • Air fares training and updates (at induction and latterly at the request of the Sales Manager).
  • Updating airline special offers for the Product Managers.
