We are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic and experienced General Assistant to work alongside the Chef Manager at this busy site based in Farnborough, Hampshire. The site produces the catering for the staff restaurant offering a deli bar, hot mains, grab and go and hospitality. As the General Assistant, you will be experienced in working within a catering environment and be able to assist the Chef Manager with food prep. The service is run as a call order service so food is made fresh to order. As well as serving on the counter, you will assist the Chef Manager in the washing up and clearing down of the kitchen. Due to the location of the site, all candidates must have their own transport as the site is not accessible on public transport.

To be considered as a candidate, you will
- be an experienced General Assistant
- have worked in a similar environment
- hold your Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate
- be accustomed to food prep and be able to produce salads etc
- have experience with deli bar
- ideally hold your basic food hygiene certificate
- be flexible, willing and enthusiastic with a positive attitude
- have own transport
