Our client is looking for a hard-working, full-time, general assistant to work in their excellent, award winning independent hotel over looking Lake Windermere. Set in beautiful grounds right on the edge of the lake this hotel has 15 rooms and hosts a variety of functions all year round. There is opportunity for live in if needed, if not then you will need your own transport due to location being off any public transport routes. Salary will be 14,000-15,000 + great tips and opportunity to progress. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate who has a great passion for quality hotels and great customer service.
You are expected to be well presented, friendly, enthusiastic and willing to learn. You are also required to promote and maintain the reputation of the establishment by providing excellent customer care and service. You will need to have experience working in a hotel/restaurant but specific training will be given. This post will involve working within a quality restaurant, bar and on the very rare occasion housekeeping and reception. You need to be motivated and confident in your abilities and wiling to take on extra jobs as and where needed, the small team all pitch in together to ensure the smooth running of the venue.
