A rare opportunity has arisen for an innovative, entrepreneurial minded General Catering Manager to join a young and vibrant Contract Catering Company. Only candidates with strong B&I Contract Catering backgrounds will be considered due to the nature of the role.
As General Catering Manager, you will be responsible for: - Successfully overseeing operational aspects of our bespoke Contract Catering client with a view to maintaining and improving food innovation and service standards. - Managing an existing internal team of 8-10. - Coaching and mentoring the team - in view to maintain and improve front of house standards. - All P&L responsibilities, reporting back to the Operations Manager.
Ideal General Catering Manager candidates will: - Have excellent experience managing a flagship B&I Contract Catering premises. - Have a strong understanding of retail concessions and be a keen identifier of point of sale / branding exercise. - Bring best practices to the operation but be open-minded and willing to adapt and change with the needs of the business. - Be passionate about fresh food and its sourcing to promote exciting, contemporary and alternative dining.
This General Catering Manager role is offering: - A salary of circa 35,000 - 5/7 working week - Company pension plan and other excellent incentives / benefits -Progression opportunities within the company for the right candidate
