A unique opportunity has arisen for a catering general manager whom possesses a background within fine dining, preferably within a chef capacity. This role will suit a commercially astute industry professional. As General Manager, you will be responsible for: - Successfully overseeing all operational aspects of our bespoke Contract Catering client within modern and innovative quick service and conference facilities. - Managing an existing internal team of 12-14. - Coaching and mentoring the team - in view to maintain and improve front of house standards whilst liaising with the back of house operation. - All P&L responsibilities, reporting back to the Area Manager.
Ideal General Manager candidates will: - Have excellent experience managing high profile B&I Contract Catering premises. - Have a strong understanding of on-site concessions and be a keen identifier of point of sale / branding exercises to attract up sell opportunities. - Bring exemplary practices to the operation but be open-minded and willing to adapt and change with the needs of the business. - Be passionate about food and service innovation to promote exciting, contemporary and alternative dining experiences. - Be willing to work closely with both on sites and Regional Operations Management.
