General Manager - Tower Of London - 40,000 Our client, a prestigious contract caterer is looking for an experienced driven General Manager with strong restaurant experience. To manage an efficient and effective catering operation in accordance with client requirements, company standards and statutory regulations. Overlooking the Thames on the historic Tower Wharf at the Tower of London, the Perkin Reveller is a fantastic restaurant experience in the very heart of London. A place to gather and celebrate life's simple pleasures, this modern day dining hall serves delicious food made from the finest seasonal British ingredients, and complemented with foaming jugs of beer, exceptional wines, and a marvellous selection of fine teas! Essential Total Customer Satisfaction The GM consistently provides a quality product and customer service experience that delivers total customer satisfaction. To model and create an environment in which the customer is always right; ensures a positive customer service experience. The GM responds positively and quickly to customer concerns. The Manager corrects potential problems before they affect customers. Customer review sites including TripAdvisor and OpenTable are monitored and responded to. Actions are put in place to remedy any negative comments. The GM employs high quality people who demonstrate and ensure consistent customer satisfaction. Ensures all employees are trained, motivated and empowered to deliver total customer satisfaction. Evaluates each employee's ability to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. Maintains the restaurant at the level necessary to meet or exceed the company standards for quality, service and cleanliness. Utilises labour effectively to meet budgets whilst ensuring high quality of Service. People Management The GM ensures that all employees in the business adhere to the correct standards of dress and appearance as set out in the Company handbook. Through effective communication the GM will ensure that all unit employees consistently demonstrate an excellent level of customer care, selling techniques, merchandising skills and knowledge of current promotions. The GM will establish a committed and motivated Team focused on the delivery of CH&Co values. Training and Development The GM continuously improves the skills, knowledge and morale of all employees. He treats the employees with dignity and respect; creates an environment where the entire team does the same. Effective Business Management The GM develops and executes the business plan (key elements include: fiscal responsibilities, manpower planning and local restaurant marketing) for the restaurant. Achieves results by planning, communicating, delegating and following up.
