Our client a leading restaurant are currently recruiting for a General Manager to run their busy site. You will be responsible for managing an efficient and effective catering operation as well as building a strong and successful relationship with the client. As the General Manager you will be accountable for all restaurant activities, and assume complete responsibility for the restaurant as necessary. Day to day responsibilities are as follows:*Ensure all employees are performing their job responsibilities and meeting expectations in all areas of their job descriptions*The GM should demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of food and beverage and operate with a focus on innovation, standards and market awareness *Ensuring that point of sale materials are correct and descriptive menus accompany all dishes and adequately represent the dish they support*Continually monitor, implement and maximise all Key Performance Indicators*Consistently provide a quality product and customer service experience that delivers total customer satisfaction. He models and creates an environment in which the customer service experience*Respond positively and quickly to customer concerns*Correct potential problems before they affect customers*Train, motivate and empowered to deliver total customer satisfaction, evaluate each employees ability to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction*Maintain the restaurant at the level of necessary to meet or exceed the company standards for quality, service and cleanliness *Utilise labour effectively to meet budgets whilst ensuring high quality of serviceThe ideal candidate will have a proven track record within a restaurant chain.
