My client has a string of successful boutique hotels within it's portfolio. They are currently recruiting an experienced 'hands on' GENERAL MANAGER, with proven professional skills to work in one of it's small boutique hotels set on the sea front in Penarth, Cardiff. Local Cardiff knowledge including a previous management role in the leisure industry in Cardiff is essential for this GENERAL MANAGER role. A stunnning property with 12 bedrooms, a spa and a 70 seater restaurant, promoting weddings and events as well as a fine dining offer. What are we looking for to be successful in the role of GENERAL MANAGER Experience of running an operation of comparable size and complexity Minimum of 2 years' as a Hotel General Manager Strong F&B operations skills and experience in local marketing to drive F&B sales Be able to gain and retain the respect of staff, creating a management presence which customers can easily identify Can drive exceptional results through good people management skills. As GENERAL MANAGER the Key Responsibilities will be: Responsible for the control of all operational departments on a daily basis Work closely with the management team to ensure high quality service levels are delivered.
