A German-speaking Marketing Executive is required by a tour operator which has a worldwide reputation for the highest standards of luxury and service.  As the German speaking Marketing Executive you will be working within a dedicated and friendly multi-disciplined marketing team across both online and offline channels, to help increase brand awareness within the European markets.

As a German-speaking Marketing Executive you will:

  • Support the Marketing Manager(s) in responding to the commercial needs of the business, both strategic long-term and short-term tactical activities
  • Translate key marketing collateral from English to German, ensuring consistency, accuracy and tone of voice  
  • Work with internal design teams and design freelancers to brief and produce German brochures, direct mail, advertising, emails etc.
  • Work with the web team in the US, manage the update of the German website(s) using a CMS, to ensure all content is correct and in the local tone of voice. Providing additional translation support where required
  • Assist the Online Marketing Manager and PPC agency with translation requirements
  • Check all copy that is produced by third party German operators, to ensure information is accurate and in line with the brand guidelines. This covers all marketing collateral including consumer & trade communications, and tour operator brochures
  • Work with the Marketing Manager(s) to keep abreast of current German media plans and media movements and save all media plans to file
  • Assist in the set up and management of the German Social Media channels

The successful German speaking Marketing Executive will have at least 1 year’s experience in a marketing role, with some digital marketing experience being advantageous.  As German speaking Marketing Executive you will have excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and German, with a creative mind-set.  You will have the ability to communicate and express ideas clearly, whilst being able to work pro-actively under pressure with a “can-do” attitude.  In addition to German, it would also be advantageous if you spoke either French or Italian, but not essential.
