Our client is a successful and award winning travel company that offer various travel services across the globe. Due to remarkable growth, we are now seeking an experienced German Speaking Business Development Manager to join their busy and friendly team in the Germany office.
This role is ideal for a Sales Manager and/or Business Development Manager from a travel background seeking something a little different in which you will be rewarded for your hard work.
Proactively communicate with clients on a regular basis to identify new sales opportunities, provide good customer service.
Manage the full sales cycle from generating leads, to closing deals and account management.
Meet allocated sales revenue and profit in terms of quality and quantity. Identify growth opportunities to drive revenue and profit streams.
Create a database of prospective clients in the assigned markets.
Provide monthly and annual reports on specific campaigns to find opportunity pipelines.
Share expertise and knowledge on best practice with clients and identify opportunities for improvement.
Maintain and update records using the company’s CRM system.
Attend Travel Trade shows.
Similar b2b sales experience within account management and/or business development within the travel industry is essential.
Fluent in both English and German.
Ability to analyse sales figures and take commercially sound decisions.
Solid networking and relationship building skills.
