Our client is a well established and specialist luxury tour operator, due to success and expansion, now seeking an experienced and dynamic Greek Speaking Overseas Operations Assistant (UK based) to join their team. Working within a small team and reporting to the Overseas Operations Manager you will be required to work to a high standard, ensuring that a positive and professional company image is conveyed at all times to property owners, suppliers and guests.

This exciting role entails a wide range of tasks in which no day will be the same, this includes:

  • Supporting the Overseas Operations Manager to ensure the smooth running of the overseas operations.
  • Using native language to maintain a good relationship with all company associates, partners and suppliers.
  • Communicate with staff and suppliers to ensure that they have the relevant information to allow guests to have a perfect holiday experience.
  • Prepare and dispatch contracts and other documentation to the company suppliers.
  • Maintain and monitor the company’s property Health and Safety Inspection Database.
  • Arrange  relevant information regarding the property such as house information books, local information and driving instructions.
  • Help the team with writing and production of any marketing material, brochure descriptions, house books, driving instructions etc
  • Update the website and company database
  • Help to organise and plan UK staff educational visits to relevant destinations.
  • Deal with enquiries via telephone, post and emails.

To be the cut above the rest you must:

  • Have similar experience within a travel company
  • Be commercially aware
  • Fluency of Greek is essential
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good telephone manner
  • Driving License is essential
  • Flexible approach
