Group Operations Executive - London – £22 - £24k plus bonus & benefits

 

A London based leading Inbound Tour Operator who are looking for a Group Operations Executive to join their expanding travel team. You will be joining a young and vibrant travel team who take pride in delivering the highest standard of customer satisfaction through building and maintaining their relationships with travel specialists and clients alike. Your expertise and knowledge of the tourism industry will come into play whilst creating the perfect holiday for your clients through understanding their needs and wants.

 

As a Group Operations Executive, what will you be doing?

  • Respond and follow up with sales enquiries using appropriate methods to ensure all tasks are completed within the time frame given
  • Provide costing of pre-selected hotels and services in response to client’s requests
  • Meticulous Itinerary planning – relative to the groups requirements
  • Communicate, liaise and negotiate internally and externally using appropriate methods of contact to develop and maintain business relationships
  • Book and negotiate services accordingly for your groups (coaches, guides, restaurants)
  • Manage, organise and update relevant data using database applications
  • Interpret instructions and issues arising and then implement actions according to policies and procedures
  • Use personal judgement and initiative to develop effective and constructive solutions to challenges and obstacles
  • Day to day contact with suppliers, hoteliers and clients alike
  • Prepare and submit relevant documents to both clients and suppliers in a timely and accurate manor

 

What do they expect from you?

  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Fluent written and spoken English
  • Ability to work under pressure and multi-task
  • Experience in the travel industry is preferred
  • Knowledge of the UK & Ireland an advantage but not essential
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft office application (Word/Excel/PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of TourPlan is preferred but not essential
