Groups Operations Executive is required by a prestigious and fast-growing inbound travel company that has offices in France, the UK, Ireland and the USA. You will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of operations from confirmation to group departure.

As Groups Operations Executive you will:     

  • Be responsible for ensuring the smooth running and timely manner of operations from confirmation to group departure
  • Ensure that the operations team meets and surpasses clients’ expectations
  • Book and negotiate group space in accordance with group itineraries and the company’s budget
  • Responsible for conducting performance reviews and the management of all members of the team allocated to your responsibility
  • Correspond and liaise with the accounts team to ensure invoices are accurate and payments are up to date
  • Negotiate group rates and conditions with hotels ensuring bookings adhere to client’s requirements
  • Ensure that competitive rates and conditions are contracted, ensuring the company’s profit margins are maintained
  • Be responsible for building and maintaining relations with key suppliers and hotels
  • Negotiate and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate the growth of profitable business and sustainable relations
  • Be responsible for managing arising issues and implement actions according to policies and procedures
  • Be in daily correspondence with suppliers including hoteliers and service providers
  • Conduct hotel site inspections
  • Represent the company at trade shows when necessary  

The Groups Operations Executive is:

  • Experienced in a managerial position
  • Is knowledgeable in the France-inbound market
  • Commercially minded, proactive and driven
  • An excellent communicator and an empathetic listener
  • A positive, detail orientated and organised individual
  • Able to negotiate with and persuade stakeholders at all levels
  • Experienced and knowledgeable in booking hotels and creating bespoke itineraries
  • Is fluent in French and English
