The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and able to demonstrate exceptional customer service skills. In this role, you will work at the main Information Desk within the Village Centre, providing guests with advice, answering queries and resolving problems. The ideal candidate will need to be confident with handling guest complaints and escalating issues where necessary. Other responsibilities will include checking guests in at our Arrivals Lodge, handling enquiries on our Maintenance Helpdesk, booking activities on our leisure booking system and reporting any faults to the Technical Services and Housekeeping departments. The successful candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills and must be willing to deal with guests both over the telephone and face-to-face. HOURS OF WORK You will be contracted to work 60 hours per 4 week period on a flexible basis. This means that your days and hours of work could vary each week but you will always receive at least your contracted hours each 4 week period. You will predominantly work on a Monday and Friday, however our Guest Services Department is open 365 days per year and therefore occasional cover will be required on other days of the week, including weekends and some public / bank holidays. ABOUT YOU Essential requirements: Excellent communication skills Previous experience of working within a customer service environment Desirable requirements: Computer literate and proficient in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel Closing date: 22 September 2016 at 12 Noon.
