ABOUT US Working closely with all division at Center Parcs, the Finance team oversee all financial operations on the Village. We are looking for a self-motivated, energetic and organised individual to support the village finance function. ABOUT THE BENEFITS Annual profit share/management bonus Staff Reward Scheme Free use of leisure facilities Discounted Center Parcs breaks 20% discount in restaurant and retail outlets ABOUT THE ROLE Reporting to the Village Financial Controller, you will ensure the smooth and efficient running of the Cash Office, by providing sufficient training and development of colleagues across all areas of the business to ensure that the highest standards of cash control are achieved, along with high standards of service and guest care. This is a fixed term position for up to one year to cover maternity leave. Duties will include: You will be responsible for the accurate recording and reconciling of monies and cash vouchers within the Cash Office. This will include float checks, emptying of vending machines, replenishment of change machines and working with revenue divisions to account for and minimise cash differences. You will be responsible for supervising a core team of two part-time Assistant Cashiers and be expected to have hands on responsibility for much of the cash throughout. You will also be responsible for the smooth day to day running of the village cash machines that are used to issue floats and count takings at the end of the day, ensuring that the machines are topped up with change and that any minor faults are resolved. HOURS OF WORK You will be contracted to work 160 hours per 4 week period on a flexible basis. This means that your hours and days of work may vary each week. Shift patterns will usually be Monday-Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm, however flexibility will be required to work some public/bank holidays and to support with business needs as required. ABOUT YOU The ideal candidate will be able to use their own initiative and will have direct responsibility for coordinating a small team, there will also be periods of lone working. Excellent interpersonal and motivational skills will allow you to network effectively with others on village. Essential requirements: Sound knowledge of Excel Cash control experience Strong communication and analytical skills Supervisory experience Closing date: Tuesday 27 September 2016
