As a Head Housekeeper, you will be responsible for the management of a busy housekeeping department, ensuring the provision of the very best service to our clients and their guests. As a part of this high energy and fast moving environment you will be required to: - Be the first port of call for the Hotel General Manager and senior management team within the hotel - To assist the housekeeping team, including supervisors, to meet their daily targets - Ensure a safe working environment - Maximize the performance of your team, leading by example and setting high standards and ensuring the service is operated safely, hygienically and to contractual specifications. - Support the housekeeping team with ongoing training and development - Coach and mentor housekeeping team to deliver daily targets - Provide full training and development for your team. - Maximize the performance of your team - To lead the Housekeeping team including Deputy`s and Floor Supervisors. - Ensure a safe working environment. The ideal Candidate will have: - A welcoming, friendly and outgoing manner and have the ability to develop and motivate your team. - Worked within a management capacity in the hospitality industry or a similar customer service sector. - Excellent people management skills and will have an understanding of rotas and schedules. - A high level of attention to detail and demonstrate high levels of quality. - A hands on approach needed - to support the front line team and potentially clean rooms. - Flexible working hours, including weekends depending on business needs. - Self-starter qualities, be ambitious, passionate with excellent leadership qualities How to Apply: If you think you are the ideal candidate, please click the apply now button to fill in the full application on our website.
