Are you a dynamic Travel Manager looking for a new challenge within the travel industry? Do you have passion for product, the commercial operation, relationships and people. We are looking for someone switched on to handle the day to running of the team - Product, Sales and Marketing ( approx. 8 staff). You would be the right hand person to the owner with responsibility for managing the team and ensuring the business is focused on achieving its commercial targets.

*Responsible for managing the team - setting objectives and KPI's to encourage team to achieve individual targets
*Provide regular, constructive feedback with the team
*Manage the day to day smooth running of the shop
*Analyse the product and develop a strategy for Product to ensure the business has the optimum product mix.
*Develop strong partner relationships with all owners and agents to enable new opportunities to be generated and existing relationships to be solidified - ensure that the brand continues to remain a preferred partner of choice.
*Build additional revenue streams such as experiences, niche events and wedding packages.
*Build stronger connections between Sales, Marketing and Product to ensure the business can be as successful as possible
*Regular travel to visit key partners and suppliers.
Skills and experience Required:
*Minimum 5 yrs experience in travel / hospitality
*Dynamic individual - can work at a fast pace.
*Proven track record as a people manager
*Natural networker and communicator - all about relationships
*Outstanding commercial skills gained preferably within the travel industry.
*Commercially aware, focus is on revenue and profit.
*Excellent verbal and written skills.
*Must be enthusiastic and possess an engaging and confident personality.
*Self-motivated and work well under pressure.
*Experience in working with computer systems.
*Computer Literate - Microsoft Windows applications
*Strong analytical and administrative skills.
*Accuracy and attention to detail essential.
*Periodically there will be a requirement to work during the evenings/weekends to attend events, conferences and overseas trips.
