Head of Customer Service - Travel Industry - Central London. A fantastic opportunity to join a well-known, reputable travel company based in Central London, responsible for heading up a small customer relations team and implementing new procedures to drive the customer experience.

Head of Customer Service Responsibilities

You will be responsible for motivating and leading you team and monitoring performance to ensure key performance indicators are reached. You will promote a positive service culture and make reccomendations on how to improve the customer experience. You will seek opportunities to maximise margins, encourage repeat business and manage relationships with suppliers to ensure any issues resulting in customer complaints are dealt with in a timely manner. You will seek a positive working relationship with the sales team, ensure quality assurance is maintained, lead on the recruitment, training and inducting of your team members and manage the team rota.

Head of Customer Service Responsibilities

  • Strong background of leading a team within a travel industry, call centre environment
  • Track record of team leadership and driving performance
  • Commercial understanding of budgets, forecasting and margin management
  • Experience of managing a service related team within a Dynamic Packaging environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Experience of supplier relations or managing supplier standards
