Head of Operations – South West London - Up to £58,000

  • An award-winning Ski tour operator that have been in business for over a hundred years
  • A highly driven, ambitious and dynamic team
  • Responsible to manage and take full responsibility for all areas of Operations, including operations, team development, member services, and IT services.

The key responsibilities for the Head of Operations are:

  • Be the key contact for your assigned clients
  • Monitor progress and follow processes to meet critical deadlines
  • Develop operations KPIs to measure and manage service efficiency, and provide regular reporting to demonstrate objectives being met and enhanced service levels
  • Overall responsibility for the booking and organisation of flights, transfers, rail and accommodation.
  • 24/7 Emergency contact for Leaders in resort as part of crisis response
  • Develop a continuous improvement programme to continually improve service process efficiency (speed/cost/improved output/all)
  • Build long-term relationships with clients, listening to and identifying their core objectives

The key skills required for the Head of Operations are:

  • Ideally 2+ years’ experience in a client-focused role preferably in the travel industry
  • Proven track record of meeting & exceeding targets
  • Strong interpersonal skills. Must be able to negotiate and problem solve
  • Be proficient in MS Office - Word, Outlook, Excel & PowerPoint
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently, and co-operatively as part of a team
  • Be comfortable with pitching and presenting
