Homeworking Cruise Sales Consultant
Our client, one of the UK’s leading independent travel companies, is currently looking to recruit a number of experienced homeworking cruise sales consultants to join their well-established cruise team.
**Please note that applicants must live in Scotland and be willing to travel to our clients offices in Ayrshire for keep in touch days, cruise events & training purposes
As a homeworking cruise sales consultant you will handle calls & travel requests from direct customers around the UK, and primarily book cruise holidays with various cruise operators. Working for an independent travel company, you will have the ability to de-package a standard cruise holiday, and tailor-make a specific travel itinerary to match the exact requirements of your customer. You will provide excellent destination & product knowledge to all customers, and help generate your own marketing campaigns, highlighting any special offers and discounts available to your customers. You will also be required to maximise the revenue on each booking you make through the promotion of various ancillary products.
As a homeworking cruise sales consultant you will have proven experience working in a similar cruise consultant or travel sales consultant role, and have a good understanding of the UK cruise market. You will have a real passion for booking cruise holidays, and have previous experience tailor-making independent travel itineraries with flights, cruises and holiday extras. You will be extremely sales & target driven, and have the ability to up-sell ancillary products to help maximise the revenue & profit on each booking you make. You will also be very PC literate, and have a good working use of some ‘cruise specific’ booking systems. Previous experience working in a similar travel sales role from home would also prove an advantage.

Hours of work are Monday to Friday 09:00 – 17:30, 10:30 – 19:00 & 11:30 – 20:00, Saturday & Sunday 09:00 – 18:00 (5 full days & 37.5 hours a week)
