Hospitality and Events Sales Executive - Surrey - £25k + Excellent Commission

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Hospitality and Events Sales Executive to join our client who are a leading Events and Hospitality organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving and exceeding targeted Sales. This will be achieved through targeting new commercial customers and sectors, whilst ensuring strong levels of repeat business through successful account management.

The Responsibilities of the Hospitality and Events Sales Executive are:

  • Proactively sell hospitality, restaurant and sponsorship packages and offers in order to maximise the use of facilities
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Work closely with events team ensuring all events are effectively delivered and administered
  • Grow business from the existing customer base to meet targets and ensure strong levels of repeat business.
  • Identify and target new commercial customers and sectors and bring in new sales from these markets
  • Sell Hospitality and Sponsorship packages and offers and contribute to the achievement of sales targets
  • Account manage relationships with key accounts and agents.
  • Meeting and corresponding with all potential clients, handling and converting incoming enquiries and contracting bookings.
  • Assist with the preparation of proposals for new clients and to meet and show round where necessary the facilities on offer
  • Ensure the effective management of the enquiries, including Client communication regarding their booking
  • Provide accurate weekly sales and activity reports to the GM/Regional Head of Sales.
  • Work collaboratively with the Region’s Marketing department to deliver messages to potential clients.
  • Work with Conference & Events team to help build business, run events and generate sales leads when required.
  • Represent the region as required at exhibitions, open days and other client liaison activities.

The skills required for the Hospitality and Events Sales Executive are:

  • Demonstrate proven success in sales negotiation
  • Possess experience in new business development and account management
  • Have excellent sales presentation skills
  • Be self-motivated and driven
  • Be able to prioritise and meet deadlines
  • Have excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
