The main objective of this role is to ensure the smooth planning and delivery of the day to day hospitality functions within the unit in a highly customer focused environment. Tasks will include customer liaison, food and beverage service in a polite and friendly manner, table setting and clearing. This is an exciting opportunity on a temp to perm basis to join a prestigious firm.The ideal candidate will have : Ability to promote a welcoming environment where our colleagues, clients and customers receive great servicePolite and friendly natureGood Customer Care skillsBe prepared to help out the rest of the team in a willing and positive mannerNeat and tidy in appearanceAwareness of Hygiene standardsAble to work in a busy environmentA 'can do' attitudeGood command of the English Language Responsibilities will include but will not be exclusive to: To ensure that preparation, delivery and clearing procedures are adhered to as shown and trained and that only correct equipment and food/beverage items are usedTo promptly clear and clean meeting rooms once vacantTo ensure that the pantry and "Bullpen" area on the 3rd floor are clean, tidy, well stocked and food and beverage items are not "out of date" at any timeTo ensure sufficient mis-en-place, food and beverages are to hand to meet the demand and unexpected bookingsTo be fully briefed by Head Chef and/or colleagues on soup & cake of the day, menus and product availability prior to start of serviceTo acquire a good knowledge of items on the "Bullpen" menu and any other products on offer in order to be able to advise individuals on their choiceTo be aware of any special requests and clients' likes as well as dislikesTo actively gain feedback and passing the information on to your Hospitality ManagerTo adhere to required standards at all times and to look out for opportunities to develop our services in line with current trendsAs part of our commitment for continuous improvement and innovation, all colleagues are encouraged to seek ways to improve work activities and promote efficiency 2. STOCK CONTROL AND ORDERING To ensure that all necessary stocks are ordered and delivered as requiredTo ensure that only nominated suppliers are used unless authorised by the Hospitality ManagerTo ensure all stocks are taken accurately as required by the Hospitality ManagerTo adhere to stock rotation- and labelling procedure as outlined in the "A-Z of Food Safety" 3. ADMINISTRATION To complete any administration forms to the required standard, i.e. accurate, neat and legibleTo supply finance control information (daily costings, payroll, stock take, Trim Trax, cash purchases control log, etc.) as required - mainly in absence of the Hospitality Manager 4. CLIENT AND CUSTOMER RELATIONS To ensure highest level of customer care is adhered to at all timesTo demonstrate a "can-do" attitude towards individual client and visitor requests, comments, likes, dislikes and strive to exceed their expectationsTo build upon existing good relationships with the client It is Career Legal's policy, as a matter of courtesy to respond to all applications within three working days.
