Hospitality & Bar Manager - National Venue - Role Responsibility

As Hospitlity & Bar Manager you will report to the Deputy General Manager, to lead all cellar and retail operations for events days and non events days including Conference and Events. As Hospitality & Bar Manager you will organise and order stock for all areas as well as recruiting your own variable staff. Taking a lead in training, inductions and ensuring compliance. As Hospitality & Bar Manager you will oversee an Assistant Manager, Logistic event day supervisor and up to 90 staff on Event days.

This is a great opportunity for a driven retail Manager to help to develop the business and we are looking for a creative individual who wants to make an impact. The retail outlets include 10 fixed concessions and additional mobile units. As Hospitality & Bar Manager you will ensure the smooth planning and delivery of a first class service to our clients and customers whilst managing the business needs and performance standards. You will facilitate the daily operations and review performance and delivery of financial targets.

Must be flexible with schedule, able to work different shifts when required on event nights
Must have a 'can do' positive, driven attitude
Have a standards and quality driven management style with excellent communication skills
Experience in management of complex mix of stakeholders
Good mix of operational and training experience
At least 2 years' experience in a retail and beverage environment.
Structured and approachable people management skills
Understanding of working to a P&L
Constantly challenges the 'status quo'
Respond to the pace of the business in terms of speed of work and productivity
Demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of the retail and beverage industry
