Hotel Account Manager, London, Salary to £35k plus bonus
An exciting new role has become available for a Hotel Account Manager to join this successful Agency working with both travel suppliers and agents for this, role based in SW London. The role will be involved with development and growth of trade relationships for there hotel and destination clients, signing up new operators and agencies. This varied and evolving role offers excellent opportunities and career growth for the right person. Salary to £35k plus bonus up to £10k.
Hotel Account Manager Responsibilities:
To seek out new business opportunities for the portfolio.
Establish excellent working relationships with key partners in order to optimise all opportunities of working together
Develop new partners explaining the mutual benefit of the scheme
Constantly monitor the market for new opportunities
Act immediately on those opportunities to ensure our clients don't miss out at all
Look at existing relationships and identify opportunities to work more closely and drive more business from those relationships
Ensure all tour operator partners are marketing the hotels properly through monitoring of web sites and brochures
Ensure their staff are well trained and properly motivated to recommend and convert bookings to our hotels
Constantly monitor the coverage and do regular price and content checks for all key partners
Set up training opportunities and attend events and roadshows as required.
Hotel Account Manager Requirements:
Experience in either hotel sales, representation, tour operation or travel retail.
Proactive and courageous nature is required in order to stay front of mind in all our tour operator relationships
The ability to create opportunities, generate ideas and innovative ways to promote the product
Be prepared to get out on the road, attend an event, jump on a plane!
