Are you experienced within hotel contracting in the UK? Do you come from a wholesale travel background? Do you have a proven track record in negotiating rates and building supplier relationships in the UK? If so, this position would represent a fantastic opportunity to work for an established incoming travel tour operators based in the City Of London as a UK Hotel Contracting Manager.
THE ROLE You would be responsible for finding and booking FIT space at suitable hotel accommodations in the UK, contracting of hotel rate agreements and allocations, according to customer needs.
JOB DESCRIPTION: *The purpose of this role is to contract hotels in the UK *Negotiating FIT rates and terms and conditions with hotels. *Identifying destinations and periods where hotel allocations may be required, negotiating rate agreements and pre-booking allocations. *Inspecting new hotel product where required. *Maintaining and developing relationships with hotels and suppliers *Identifying hotel product likely to produce sales interest and within estimated required sales budgets
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: *A second European language would be an advantage *Experience of hotel contracting within the UK *Ability to develop close working relationships with suppliers to achieve optimum results *Excellent communication and interpersonal skills *Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines *Ambitious with the ability to think on your feet, multi-task and prioritise *Capable of working alone or as part of a team
