Hotel Reservations and Revenue Co-Ordinator/ Manager - North London Location: Manor House N4 We are a boutique hotel based in North London. We are recruiting for a dynamic, energetic and experienced Reservations Co-Ordinator to work within our Reservations department. This role comes with the potential to become the companies Group Hotel Reservations and Revenue Manager as we expand our hotels & rooms. This is an outstanding role, working with an outstanding team and Managing Director.THE ROLE:As the Hotel Reservations & Revenue Co-Ordinator, you will be overseeing individual, group and events enquiries for the hotel. You will maintain an efficient flow of reservations correspondence and overseeing the Hotel PMS System and 3rd party websites, manage customer service & complaints handling and meet budgeted sales and profit margins. The ideal candidate for the Hotel Reservations & Revenue Co-Ordinator position should:. Have previous experience within Hotel Reservations. Be keen in creating a culture of enthusiasm and success, focused on training, standards and consistency within the team. Have a sales driven attitude, striving to meet departmental targets. Have property yielding experience. Have an excellent command of written and spoken English, combined with excellent communication skills. Be able to work well under pressure and have strong organisational skills. Have a warm, friendly, engaging and professional attitude Other duties will include: - Answering any quest queries as quickly as possible/ update them on progress. - Ensure an efficient reception experience for Guests, including check in/out - Demonstrate a high level of customer service at all times - Demonstrate a knowledge of hotel room categories, room rates, packages, promotions and other general product knowledge necessary to perform daily duties - Maximize room occupancy and use up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities - Take payments on check in/ check out - Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation - Follow company brand standards - Assist other departments, as necessary - Assist the head receptionist and department heads where necessary. THE CANDIDATE- Previous experience in a customer-focused industry (hotel preferably) - Positive attitude and good communication skills - Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service - Ability to work on your own and as part of a team - Competent level of IT proficiency This is a very exciting role with lots of potential, as fast tracking to Management level is available within 12 months.
