Hotel Software Customer Support (Hotel Staff Career Change)
Bristol BS16
£22,000 - £24,000 + gym membership contribution, free parking, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays + casual dress code

++ Do you have customer experience of supporting users with a software suite preferably "Hotel Executive" by Avon Data Systems ? Perhaps you already work with hotel property management software in Receptionist / Front of House capacity and want to use your skills in a new field? We are not looking for techies as full training will be provided ++

We provide technology solutions to the hospitality industry. We are a Bristol-based software company that has specialised in Property Management and Point-of-Sale systems for 30 years.

We currently have an opening for a Hotel Software Support Agent with a hotel background to join our team. If you love the hotel industry but not the hours that go with it, this could be an excellent opportunity to embark upon a new career. 

Your core duties will be:

+ Taking first line support – logging tickets, assisting the customer where possible
+ Channel management integrations
+ Build of booking engines
+ PMS (Property Management System) software configuration
+ EPOS (Electronic Point-Of-Sale) software configuration
+ Up-sell of upgrades, add-ons and training
+ Online training
+ Paticipation in the emergency out of hours support rota from home (circa one evening per week)

You should display the following skills and characteristics:

+ Experience with using a PMS - preferably "Hotel Executive" by Avon Data Systems
+ Experience with a channel manager (Preferably SiteMinder)
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
+ A positive and vibrant outlook
+ Natural sales and rapport-building ability 
+ Friendly and approachable manner 
+ Good team player

You may have worked in the following capacities:
Hotel Receptionist, Front of House Manager, Software Support, Customer Support, Service Desk, Help Desk Support, Customer Support Advisor, Customer Success Advisor, Hotel Software Support Advisor
