We have a fantastic opportunity for a Housekeeping Assistant to join the team at Watergate Bay Hotel.

Reporting to the Housekeeping Supervisor, your prime function will be to support the Housekeeping Supervisor in delivering the highest standards of housekeeping across all areas of the business. This role provides a unique opportunity within a successful and expanding organisation, which encourages professional development and offers excellent long-term career prospects.



Responsibilities:



To service and depart the allocated bedrooms given to the required standard and time set.
To carry out correct key signing in and out daily, and be aware of key security at all times.
To ensure that all corridors outside rooms are kept to the required standard.
To keep linen cupboards clean and tidy, and closed when not in use. To follow all health and safety, manual handling and COSHH regulations.
To assist and support the training and development of new team members.
To ensure that maximum efficiency is achieved through teamwork.
To perform any additional duties as required by the Housekeeper or the Housekeeping supervisors.



Required experience:



Previous housekeeping experience.
Excellent time management and organisational skills.
An ability to work unsupervised and using own initiative.
Strong team working skills.
A full clean driving licence.
